Out of all my toys, none of them surprise and enchant me more than these two little figurines of Black Jack and Pinoko-chan. (they used to be cell phone charms but long since had their straps fall off. we ordered them wholesale to sell in the shop with the rest of the cell phone charms-- two sets of them plus Princess Knight. I bought a set for myself and the other is still waiting to be sold) I put Pinoko on a sweatshirt zipper .. the pink one with bear ears I think.... when we went to Japan in 2010. She fell off almost immediately from the strap in LA airport and kept doing so until I figured I was lucky to keep finding her and next time maybe I'd lose her forever, so removed her to keep her safe. Black Jack was hanging out on my phone about the same time and he fell off too (the little clasps at the end of the straps weren't the best quality...?-__-). One night after going to the street festival somewhere in Tokyo, I noticed back at the hotel he was missing!!!!! kyaaa and at a festival too with thousands of people everywhere!!!! Luckily and blessingly, he was inside of PK safe and sound the whole time. etto.... you do know PK has pockets and he hold lots of important things for me like wallet and castanets, right? After those events, I've kept them just as figurines.
Then one time, Black Jack was on the floor by the sofa rug and Pinoko was up on the tv stand on top of a speaker. It was really kinda odd...... they were so totally looking. straight. at. each other. ( ̄◇ ̄;)!!! After that, I kept them always together.
Right now, they share a plate with the jar of ink on my antique teacup holder that I use for art supplies. I moved it today to put the new tablecloth on and just this evening-- I noticed Pinoko really looks as though she's whispering to him-- or about to give him a big smooch. \(//∇//)\???!!! I don't know what to think hehe.
All these incidences were by no means fake set-ups. All of them were complete accidental curiosities. Kinda like that time I found Black Jack and Pinoko on resin spoon pendants in a street market in downtown San Francisco handmade by an old Chinese guy who had absolutely no idea who they were......? From my favorite manga in all of time in all the world, of course♥
Anyways, just a little snapshot worth a hundred curious words or so.
baibai again^^
