nihaha^^...... isn't it wonderful to hang up laundry outside in the summer? This year I'm hoping for us to have a real laundry line out back-- maybe the kind with a pulley like our next-door neighbors have. Like in Arrietty^___^ a metal kind like this would be nice though.. probably strong enough to air out my futon, ne? You're supposed to do that with Japanese futon every once in a while but I never have anywhere to hang mine...... I've had to sew up so many splits in the seams on it too. Wonder how long people usually keep them for? Well, if I ever move away and it's too bulky to take with me, I'll just have to get another one, ne!
The sun has finally come out here-- after days of rain and wind. It's pretty^___^ it would be a wonderful day to prune the grape vines and plant starts in the ground (the soil here is clay, so you have to work with it right after it rains, or else it's hard as rock). But today is a day for regular working^^ maybe tomorrow it will be nice enough to do yard work, ne?
